Budget Cuts

It's interesting to see that the Minister is promoting the $25m cut to the Ministry's baseline as an exercise to move resources to the frontline.  It still begs the question - why won't this Govt acknowledge that special education staff are already frontline.  It was good to hear Trevor Mallard on Morning Report this morning talking about all of the frontline special education staff at the Ministry.  Karen
